1st timer....

Hi ALL...
Visiting for the 1st time tomorrow with my 11yr old Son & 18yr old nephew(Who is a frequent visitor)..
Looking forward to it, as it's only the 2nd Fishery I've been to, since starting back up Angling seriously after a 20yr gap!
I got my Son to thank for getting me all interested in Fishing again..
Hope to make new Friends too...

Started off with the Boy catching 4 carp before the nephew & myself even started! Finally caught up & overtook him...
The nephew had the biggest catch of the day with a 7lb common BUT he says that catch I had on the hook right up until it was just about to be landed into the net was bigger!!? GGRRRRRRRR That is gonna be on my mind for a long time, as I have only just started angling again & that would have been my largest ever!
Never mind, at least we had a fantastic day, weather wise & also the final bag.. Tally was the boy=7, the nephew=9 & me=14... At least I won the count..

hello all
My son and I bth visited redhill for the first time on friday last. From the welcome and advice at the snap cabin, to the final lift of the keepnets, we had a fanstastic day. From first put to last, we were on fish, and had to stop fishing to have a cigarette.

No idea on final weights, but both of us had 2 heavy bags, fishing paste over pellet, in the margin and at 5 sections.
